PLACENTA SERVICES
Placenta has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. It is considered one of the most powerful Qi tonics and nourishes the meridians of the lungs, liver and kidneys, as well as bringing the “heat” back into the body that was lost during childbirth. This is especially helpful postpartum due to efforts placed on the body.
PROCESSING PLACENTAS IS A SACRED, HONORING PROCESS AND I HOLD THAT INTENT THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS.

I use the Traditional Chinese Medicine method of placenta preparation to produce your capsules. This method includes a gentle washing and steaming of the placenta before dehydrating, grinding, and encapsulation.. There are no additives and the number of pills is completely determined by the size of your placenta.
If you prefer the Raw Method preparation, we can accomedate that as well.

I completed my training with the International Placenta & Postpartum Association and have a dedicated Placenta Kitchen to process your placenta. I follow the utmost safety standards and limit the number of placentas I process within a month. Each placenta is stored and processed separately, and all equipment is sanitized (please see below)

Placenta Salve $25
This creates a shelf stable salve made of coconut oil and shea butter. It can be helpful as a nipple or butt cream. There are countless ways to use this salve and gain its extra benefits.Smoothie Pieces $25
We will prepare 4-7 pieces for you to consume in the first week postpartum. This is a free add on for any doula client would like pieces prepared for smoothies.
Placenta Art Print $40
We use watercolor paper and edible paint to make you 3 keepsake prints of your “tree of life”
