Any phase of reproductive journey welcome. Baby in carrier is welcome! Come with a comfy outfit to move around. Yoga pants, T-shirt, and barefoot is great. The level of workout is to make your blood flow going, not to make you pant. We warm up/stretch, do some breathing, basic & juicy bellydance moves; and do a short choreography together. Throughout the class, there will be some labor/birth and parenting tips to take home with. No dance experience necessary because you are dancing for YOURSELF.

Why Dancing for Birthing?

💜Being upright during labor and birth can increase the available space within the birthing person’s pelvis by up to 30%.

💜 Maternal exercise throughout gestation improves fetal heart health.

💜At five years old, children whose mothers exercised during pregnancy scored much higher on tests of general intelligence and oral language skills.
